Communications Manager

Areas in which we need your expertise

  • ‍In close cooperation with Marketing Manager, prepare PR strategy and campaigns
  • Identify relevant topics and formats to communicate to municipalities and public administration
  • Actively engage with traditional and online media to raise awareness and initiate public discussion
  • Craft and tell compelling stories, create presentations, leaflets and press releases
  • Publicly speak at interviews and events
  • Deal with enquiries from the public, press and clients (including crisis communication)
  • Plan and execute events with impact, cooperate with international and local organizations (United Nations, New York City Council, Czech Office of the Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, IPR, CAMP, and more)
  • Support Sales team (marketing materials, consulting communication strategy for clients)
  • Initiate and develop good relations with relevant stakeholders, mainly in public administration
  • Make content for social media
  • Identify new business opportunities, initiate partnerships with relevant stakeholders

About you

  • ‍3 years of experience with PR, communications and/or media
  • Professional command of Czech and English
  • Good contacts with Czech journalists
  • Good contacts with Czech public administration (municipalities, regions, ministries, government)
  • Proven experience with social media
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, InDesign/Photoshop is a big plus)
  • Interest in politics, civil society, participation, urban development and planning is an asset
