Why we do this

Our team

Czech mathematician Karel Janeček invented the D21 voting system in 2012 as a tool to fight corruption and empower voters in his home country. With a home office in Prague, D21 now has team members on the ground in New York, Paris, Tunis, Beijing, and Bangalore. D21 is structured as a social enterprise, with its primary mission to strengthen democracy through more informed and effective decision-making worldwide.
